How to check if your phone supports eSIM

Generally, smartphones that support eSIMs have an option to manage eSIMs in the settings or network settings screen. After purchasing an eSIM service, you can easily set it up using a QR code provided by your carrier. Here's how to check if your mobile device is compatible with eSIM. To check compatibility, you'll need an internet connection and the ability to display or print the eSIM's QR code on another device.

■ How to check your iPhone

To check if your iPhone supports eSIM technology, follow these simple steps: ・Tap "Settings". ・Go to "Mobile Communications". ・This screen displays the currently active SIM card. Tap on the "Change Mobile Data Plan" option. If you see the option to scan a QR code, your iPhone supports eSIM.

■ How to check Samsung

To check if your Samsung phone supports eSIM, follow these steps: ・Go to "Settings". ・Select "Connect". ・Tap "SIM Card Manager". ・Select "Add Mobile Plan." If you see the option to scan the QR code to add a mobile plan, your Samsung phone is capable of using eSIM.

■ How to check your Apple iPad

To check if your iPad supports eSIM, follow these steps: ・Tap "Settings". ・Go to "General". ・Select "General" and then "Information." - Check whether "EID" is displayed on the "Information" screen. ・If you have an "EID", your iPad supports eSIM.

■ How to check your Google Pixel

To check if your Google Pixel supports eSIM, follow these steps: ・Tap "Settings". ・Go to "Network and Internet". ・Select "Mobile Network". ・Tap "Advanced Settings". ・Go to "Mobile Carriers". ・Select "Add mobile carrier." ・You will be asked for permission to read the QR code using your smartphone camera. If all these steps are successful, you will now be able to manage your eSIM on your Google Pixel.

■ How to check if you have Huawei

If you have a Huawei phone, please follow these steps to check if your phone is compatible with eSIM: ・Tap "Settings". ・Go to "Mobile Network". ・Select "SIM Management". ・Tap "Add eSIM". Next, enter your activation code (provided by your carrier). ・Then scan the QR code on the eSIM. ・After a while, the eSIM will be installed. Once you have completed each step, your mobile device will be eSIM compatible.

■ How to check your Motorola

If you have a Motorola phone, you can check your phone's eSIM compatibility by following these steps: - Select "Settings" > "Network & Internet" > "SIM Cards". Go to "More" > "Carrier" > "Add Carrier". ・A screen for reading the QR code will appear. If you can get this far, your Motorola phone supports eSIM.

■ How to check your OPPO

To check if your OPPO supports eSIM technology, follow these simple steps: ・Tap the "Settings" icon. - Select "SIM card and mobile data" on the settings screen. Under "SIM Card & Mobile Data," turn on "Mobile Data." - Select the "eSIM" option. If you see the option to scan the QR code, your OPPO phone is ready to use eSIM.

■ How to check Xiaomi

At the moment, the only Xiaomi phone compatible with this eSIM is the Xiaomi 12T Pro. On this phone, you'll see the option to add an eSIM in the "Network Settings" screen. High-spec models from Xiaomi 12T onwards will only have eSIM functionality and will no longer be able to use physical SIM cards.

■ How to check if your device supports eSIM

Please check if your mobile phone has eSIM functionality.
